Teacher Hao Wen is a certified Grade 8 drum teacher from the Trinity College London (Rock & Pop) Syllabus. He has an active background as a live and session drummer, performing regularly across gigs, bands, and professional music events.
His performance experience includes being a featured drummer at Universal Music Group’s Keshi Requiem Album Launch Party, as well as playing and sessioning with various bands in live performance settings. He also served as Head Secretary of the Sunway Music Society in 2025, contributing to music community development and student activities.
Teacher Hao Wen follows a structured yet supportive teaching approach, offering clear guidance while maintaining a non judgmental and encouraging environment. He prioritises keeping drum lessons enjoyable, helping students build a genuine interest in drumming while developing musical taste and essential performance soft skills. His philosophy centers on ensuring drumming remains something to be enjoyed and cherished, not feared or treated as a chore.
