Teacher Wilson is an experienced church musician with a strong multi instrumental background, bringing both practical performance insight and structured teaching expertise into every lesson. With over five years of teaching experience, he has guided students of all ages, from young beginners to adults. He holds a Rockschool Drum Grade 8 certification and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Music at Sunway College.
His achievements reflect both personal excellence and student success. He secured 1st Place in Rockfest 2024 (Adult Band Category) and 1st Runner Up in Rockfest 2024 (Drums Open 5 Category). Beyond his own accomplishments, his students have consistently achieved distinctions in drum examinations and earned top placements in competitions.
Teacher Wilson’s teaching philosophy centers on building strong fundamentals and a solid theoretical foundation while keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable. He encourages students to explore and perform music they love, while also promoting playing by ear to develop creativity, versatility, and musical intuition in a positive and supportive learning environment.
