Active in Malaysia’s heavy music scene as both a performer and composer, he is the founder of Iravu, a one man metal/ambient project with releases including the full-length A Fate Worse Than Home and the split Sudra. He also leads Anomander, a post-metal band known for its immersive soundscapes, and performs with Blood Legion, a death metal band delivering high-energy live shows. Beyond performance, Hareesh is an experienced recording and production artist. He has independently recorded, mixed, and mastered all of his releases, giving him a deep understanding of the full creative process from composition to final production.

A Grade 8 certified musician and Rockfest 2017 winner, Hareesh continues to push his craft across multiple genres. With expertise spanning performance, production, and composition, he brings both technical mastery and artistic vision to his teaching, inspiring students to develop as well-rounded musicians.
