Teacher Abby is an experienced and passionate piano teacher who holds a Bachelor of Music (Hons) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and is certified in ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Performance and Music Theory. With a strong classical foundation and years of teaching experience, she is dedicated to utilizing her experience to make piano lessons both enjoyable and productive.
Her achievements include receiving the Award of Excellence from Trinity College London for Piano and winning the Silver Award in the Young Artist Category at the UCSI International Piano Festival & Competition. Since 2024, she has also been teaching at Harvest International School, where she has mentored and guided over 100 students aged 7 and above in developing their musical skills and performance confidence.
Teacher Abby believes in maintaining a friendly and adaptable teaching style that places students at the center of the learning experience. She tailors lessons according to each student’s interests while focusing on developing strong sight reading skills and musical literacy, empowering students to explore music independently while keeping lessons enjoyable and engaging.
