Teacher Sophronia holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano from Universiti Malaya (2025) and is certified in ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Performance and Grade 8 Theory. With a strong background in jazz, performance, and ensemble playing, she brings a creative and practical approach to her piano classes.
She has performed actively as a pianist and keyboardist in various productions and concerts, including as pianist for Meowgic by Trollz Production in 2025, keyboardist for the “Xuehaibei” National Campus Songwriting Competition in 2025, and keyboardist for Ong Yong Hong’s 28th 客厅计划音乐会 in 2024. From 2023 to 2025, she also served as pianist, arranger, and band leader for multiple university performances, gaining extensive experience in live performance and musical collaboration.
Teacher Sophronia believes music learning should be enjoyable, exploratory, and student centered. She adapts her teaching approach according to each student’s pace and learning style while emphasizing performance experience, ensemble playing, and practical musicianship. Her lessons aim to help students build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
