Teacher Kuan Ru is an experienced and versatile Cello & Violin Teacher with certifications in ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Performance & Music Theory, Trinity Grade 8 Cello, Trinity Grade 8 Violin, and a Trinity ATCL Diploma in Piano Performance.
Since 2009, she has taught children from diverse backgrounds and successfully guided over 30 students in completing their Grade 8 certifications while maintaining a 100% passing rate throughout her teaching career. In addition to teaching, she is also an experienced orchestral performer, giving students valuable insight into ensemble playing and musical expression.
Teacher Kuan Ru’s teaching style is gentle, patient, and encouraging, allowing students to progress confidently at their own pace while enjoying the learning process. Her violin classes emphasizes both technical development and emotional connection in music, guiding students to play with expression, confidence, and self assurance.
